FALL OFFERING to be presented November 1, at 431 E. South Street (near Pitcher) will present new choreography by Associate Director: Gene Chua, Gene began his early training at age nineteen with David Shields, former soloist with Sadler Wells Royal Ballet. He appeared as a member of Boston Ballet, in Nutcracker, Swan Lake and Rudolph Nureyev’s Don Quixote. He joined Omaha Ballet as principal and danced: Franz in Coppelia, the Cavalier in Nutcracker, Bournonville’s Konservatoriet, Kermess en Bruges, Napoli, Ramonda Pas de Dix and Paquita. He has wide experience with contemporary works which include Balanchine’s Allegro Brilliante, Loyce Houlton’s Carmina Burana, Sal Aiello’s Clowns and more. His choreography for this performance will include ballet and contemporary movements intermingled intelligently and creatively. An Alumae of Kalamazoo Ballet will present a new work depending on scheduling of her present company and transportation. Two present Kalamazoo Ballet dancers have prepared choreography for the Sunday, November 1st performance in addition to National dance solo’s presented by Kalamazoo Ballet Apprentices. This is an interesting deversified performance perfect for all dance lovers.
