As digital media explodes, traditional photographic materials are less available. Ginger Owen, Associate Professor of Photography and Intermedia at WMU s Frostic School of Art shares her journey to the birthplaces of photography "the homes of Joseph Nicephore Niepce, and Louis Jacques Mande Daguerre in France and William Henry Fox Talbot in England "and to world-renowned photographic collections to trace the medium s history. Inspired by her research and reflection, she also created a body of new work.
