Dejan Lazic‘s fresh interpretations of the classical repertoire have established him as one of the most unique and unusual pianists of his generation. Born in Croatia, Lazic grew up in Salzburg, Austria, where he studied at the Mozarteum. He has appeared with such orchestras as the Budapest Festival Orchestra, the Rotterdam Philharmonic, the City of Birmingham Symphony, the Bamberger Symphoniker, Swedish Radio and debuted at Chicago’s Ravinia Festival last year.
His program for this recital consists of interspersed pieces by C.P.E. Bach, Benjamin Britten and Domenico Scarlatti.
