MAKESHIFT PRESENTS COLD SWEAT BY CHRISTINE REBHUHN
Makeshift is proud to present Christine Rebhuhn’s opening art reception, Cold Sweat, on Friday, January 8. The reception will take place from 5:00 to 9:00 PM. Admission is free to the public and refreshments will be provided.
Following Makeshift’s launch party in December, Kalamazoo’s newest studio residency program will debut their inaugural two-month gallery show during January’s Art Hop. Christine Rebhuhn, a graduate of Kalamazoo College and Cranbrook Academy of Art, has exhibited her sculptural assemblages in shows across the globe. After being selected as Makeshift’s first resident artist, she sprang to work in the studio creating a new exhibition entitled Cold Sweat. Details about Christine’s process can be found in documentary materials at makeshiftkzoo.com and her own website, christinerebhuhn.com.
Makeshift Studio Residency & Gallery is located in suite 209-L of the Park Trades Center at 326 W. Kalamazoo Ave in Kalamazoo, MI. For more information on Makeshift and to learn how to apply as a future resident artist, visit Makeshift’s website at makeshiftkzoo.com.
