Rauschenberg Dancer Emergency Grants Cycle 8

Rauschenberg Dancer Emergency Grants Cycle 8

 Kalamazoo, MI, Unknown

Are you a professional dancer living anywhere in the US in dire financial emergency due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its consequences? You may be eligible for a one-time grant of up to $5,000. Dancers must demonstrate an urgent and critical need for emergency support in order to apply; you do NOT need to work as a dancer fulltime or earn your primary income through dance. Dire financial emergencies include the lack or imminent endangerment of essentials such as housing, medicine/healthcare, utilities, and food.

Cycle 8 of the Rauschenberg Dancer Emergency Grants program will be open March 21 - April 28, 2023; funds may be requested for emergency expenses for up to a three-month period between December 1, 2022 and September 30, 2023. It is administered by New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA), and funded by Robert Rauschenberg Foundation. Please click here for details.

Artists with disabilities, artists of color, and artists living outside of New York are particularly encouraged to apply. For more information, email emergencyfunds@nyfa.org, or call 212-366-6900 x239.
