The Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo is excited to announce the return of in-person Art Hop in downtown Kalamazoo! Join us in Bates Alley and the Kalamazoo Mall to celebrate sustainability during outdoor Art Hop on Friday, April 2 from 6-8 pm. Art Hop is free to attend. This event will follow all COVID-19 guidelines in compliance with the state of Michigan.
After a year of virtual Art Hops, we look forward to bringing the community together in a safe, socially-distanced outdoor space. Artwork and activities from a variety of local artists and businesses will be featured in tents placed spaciously along the alley. While hopping from booth to booth, you can grab a drink from one of the bars or restaurants located within the Downtown Social District and enjoy live music by DJ Todd Brown.
If you can’t make it downtown for Art Hop, there are still ways to get involved. A self-guided virtual art gallery and artist spotlight interviews with Alexa Karabin, Linda Rzoska, and Pam Kirkham are available below.
