About the Artist: Patricia Babladelis resides in Kalamazoo, Michigan and uses visual arts combined with poetry to provide a uniquely rich experience for the viewer.  This is her third book of paintings and poetry and draws from her experiences and perceptions of Greece.

Central to this book is the Greek concepts of pathos: a work that has the power to evoke feelings and emotion. Like her previous books, the art and poetry invite experiences on multiple levels and help the viewer see the world around them from new perspectives.  Rather than simply a sum of the parts, the art and poetry interact to create added insights and spark emotional responces.  An essence can be found here that flows through these pages connecting past, present, and enduring beyond time.
