Andy Catlin is a music producer, engineer, multi-instrumentalist, and composer who owns and operates Double Phelix Sound in Kalamazoo, MI. Catlin has produced and engineered hundreds of recordings by artists such as Frontier Ruckus, Luke Winslow-King, Seth Bernard, Sacred Strays, Benjamin Riley, and many others. As a leader of the Double Phelix music collective Andy has arranged, produced, and performed with The Go Rounds, Fiona Dickinson, Elk Welcome, Elisabeth Pixley-Fink, and his own songwriting project Lasso. Andy was a 2012 recipient of an ISLAND Artist Residency (artmeetsearth.org), recieved 2011 and 2012 nominations for WYCE's Producer of the Year, and has sold albums in over 20 countries. Andy is a competent performer on keyboards, guitar, and clarinet.
