I love to paint. That I have the chance to share that love with you gives me great pleasure. Painting is more than picture making. It is a way to celebrate daily the marriage of sky, water and land with the wonderful world of abstraction and illusion - the link of my life-scape to the doors and windows of daily sightseeing. Where would I be without the presence of shapes, light and shadow, colors, lines and edges that touch my soul? There would be no language to transform my vision, no fabric for the eye to weave, no celebration through the brush stroke. I would not see. I am grateful.

I’ve had many solo exhibits, am a watercolor instructor at the Kalamazoo Institute of Art and tutor privately indoors and out. My work has been exhibited by the Water Street Gallery in Douglas, MI, the Arts Council of Kalamazoo, other local venues and is held in several corporate and many private collections.
