JANE BAAS, Associate Professor and Academic Advisor, Western Michigan University Department of Dance, has been a member of the faculty since 1981. She received her MFA from Case Western Reserve University and her BS and MA degrees from WMU. Ms. Baas has studied with Erick Hawkins, Kelly Holt, Cathy Ward, Cori Terry, Gregg Lizenbery, and Kathryn Karipides. She has served on the boards of the Michigan Dance Association and the American College Dance Festival Association and directed the Festival when it was held at Western in 1985 and 1996. She also serves as a site visitor for the National Association of Schools of Dance.
