Justin Kellner earned the Master of Fine Arts in Painting from Kendall College of Art and Design. "My intent is to evoke memories and the sense of a place and time while portraying the interrupted cycles existing throughout the natural world's various ecosystems. Habitat loss resulting in the decline of many bird species through human expansion and climate change are ideas that inspire my work and are infused into it.
