September 2020 Art Hop
MRC artWorks—a program of MRC Industries, Inc.—provides adults living with disabilities an outlet to achieve creative self-expression in a way that promotes personal growth, dignity, and self-confidence. Located on the Kalamazoo Mall in the heart of downtown Kalamazoo, we strive to enrich the community with the diversity of art as well as creating socialization opportunities for the artists. MRC artWorks provides a safe, positive, and creative environment that focuses on the individual’s abilities rather than their disabilities.
Artists returned to on-site work mid-summer. Our current focus is on uplifting images and sayings that promote kindness, inclusion, and diversity. Our gallery is open Monday-Friday from 9 am-4 pm.
