Youth Development Courses help your child discover their talents by making art. Enrollment includes live art classes, coaching, and a private online community of current students and parents.
This Winter, your child will learn to use shape, pattern, and color to make seasonally thematic art. They’ll learn about artists who use these elements to make art with wintery themes. Sign up now to secure a spot in all 12 live classes as they become available each week.

Greetings, young artists and parents! I'm Charles Coates, an artist, and creative coach, to introduce my Winter Art Courses for youth ages 10 - 14.
This Winter, our everyday surroundings will inspire the art we make, since we're spending a lot of time at home. The goal is to strengthen creativity by making otherwise ordinary subjects fascinating.
Artists like Edward Hopper, Henri Mattise, and Giuseppe Arcimboldo, each made beautiful and sometimes humorous using everyday objects as inspiration.
Technically, we'll focus on how the elements of pattern, shape, and color work together. The Chinese Lunar New Year inspired self-portrait project draws from each of these elements.
Enrollment is open now and limited! So be sure to sign up now to reserve a spot.
Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update
Currently the Winter Courses are live online classes. We expect to host in-person classes as soon as it’s safe to do so.
