Vocal Foundations Course (Summer 2020)

This highly interactive class will build and grow your skills as a singer for beginning through intermediate/advanced vocalists. If you love to sing, but aren’t sure that you’re always doing it correctly, this class is great for you to solidify some vocal technique basics. Maybe you’ve been singing well for a while, but never know what key you’re in or how to sight-sing. This is your chance to fill in all the holes in your musical knowledge to become a strong vocalist.

Class concepts include vocal technique, music theory, ear training, stylistic genre-based vocals, and sight-singing. Whether your goal is to audition for shows, sing to fans over the internet, or just become a smarter singer, this class will teach you the details of vocal music that are often left out of private vocal lessons. Each participant will be individually assessed at the start for placement into the beginner or intermediate/advanced group to make sure you get the most growth out of the class.

For: Vocalists

Ages: 14-Adult

Ability Levels: Beginner-Advanced

Two sections:

Beginner/Lower Intermediate

Higher Intermediate/Advanced

When:

Monday evenings in June and July online via Zoom

Beginners: 5:30-6:30pm

Intermediate/Advanced: 6:30-7:30pm

Cost:

$200 total billed automatically. $100 at the time of registration and $100 on June 25th. Current private lesson students save $50.
