A town hall geared for artists and arts organizations to come together to talk about what is next, how do we affect change?

About this Event:
As a community, we are once again at a crossroads. We have been here before. We have been asked to stand up for our neighbors, friends, coworkers, and colleagues, and too often we have failed. Right now, we are asked again to stand up, to embrace justice, to embrace equity, and to do what is right. In the wake of the murder of George Floyd at the hands of law enforcement, we cannot continue to move along, business as usual.

I hope you will join members of the Arts Council to discuss where we are as an artistic community, and where we can go to continue to denounce racism and white supremacy, and use our creative expression as a catalyst for change and for healing. We need your voice, your thoughts, and your ideas, and your feedback to help determine what do we go from here?
