A railroad signalman is standing near a large opening to a rail line and he keeps shouting " Hello, below there" to something he sees in front of him. But just who is he talking to, a person-- or a ghost? That is what the narrator of the story is trying to find out, especially since this stretch of the railroad has a history of many tragic occurences.
Adapted by David Isaacson from the story by Charles Dickens. Directed by Larry Long and produced by Donald Ramlow.
