Stage Combat: Lightsabers

Steven Schwall, Certified Teacher of Stage Combat, will light up our classrooms with lightsabers as he works students though the fundamentals of stage combat covering skills such as partnering, maintaining safe distance, handling mechanics, footwork and proper targeting. In addition to learning the technical skills, Steven’s classes focus on the importance of adding stylistic elements unique to the weapon style, using the body as a sound tool to increase realism and making strong character choices to help create urgency in battle while maintaining control and safety.

In compliance with our current COVID Response plan, all students in this class will need to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and show proof of vaccination to Academy Staff on or before the first date of attendance.
