Sleepy Man

Fontana is thrilled to open the 2015 Summer Festival with Sleepy Man Banjo Boys. Performing in the beautifully restored Kalamazoo Nature Center Barn, this trio of musical brothers –ages 18, 17, and 13—burst onto the Americana roots music landscape with their own unique style of high-octane, youthful bluegrass. Sleepy Man’s exuberant blend of instrumentation and vocal harmonies has been featured at The New Orleans Jazz Festival, Carnegie Hall, the Grand Ole Opry, on David Letterman, and Jimmy Kimmel Live! It is sure to be an exciting start to an exciting summer series!
