Retrace: MI: Art Hop

Take a free ride on the RETRACE TUK-TUK around downtown Kalamazoo as you listen to stories of migration, displacement and belonging. RETRACE: MI is a participatory art project by Patricia Villalobos Echeverría, who spent the last year and a half collecting stories from Southwest Michigan’s Latino and Asian community members. The recorded voices were interwoven into a soundscape that will play inside the tuk-tuk, a three-wheeled motorized vehicle common in many parts of the world.
