Music in the Plaza - Out of Favor Boys

Since coming together in 2003, the Out of Favor Boys (OOFB) have emerged as one of the most entertaining bands in Michigan. They regularly play festivals and concerts from the Michigan lakeshore to Detroit and from Grand Rapids to Northern Indiana. Featuring funky rhythms, searing guitar, and blazing saxophone lines the quintet brings incredible energy to every show they play. Their high-energy sets feature original songs but also include many cover favorites like Albert Collins and BB Kings. The OOFB put on a show sure to be enjoyed by contemporary and traditional blues and funk lovers and anyone who appreciates great live music.

Join us for three fantastic After Hop concerts this summer for Music in the Plaza! Each concert will be performed from 7:30 – 9 pm. The Haymarket Plaza is part of the Downtown Commons Area, purchase a drink and food from any participating downtown Kalamazoo restaurant and enjoy it on the Plaza!

There is no rain site for Music in the Plaza. If we experience inclement weather the concert will be canceled by 2 pm the same day.
