About The Accidentals:
Originating from Traverse City, MI, The Accidentals formed a deep musical bond in high school and have since captivated audiences with their remarkable performances and collaborations with notable artists. They strive to inspire aspiring musicians through workshops and their nonprofit organization, Play It Forward, Again and Again.
About Lindsay Lou:
Michigan born artist Lindsay Lou’s captivating vocals are capable of untold multitudes: a molasses-sweet instrument equally capable of clarion ache, slicing deep into the soul. The daughter of a literal coal-miner and millwright, and the granddaughter of a teacher gone Rainbow Gathering healer, Lou honed her honest and resonant style with her bluegrass-inspired band, Lindsay Lou & The Flatbellys, and Michigan supergroup, Sweet Water Warblers (Rachael Davis, May Erlewine), excavating elements of bluegrass, folk, Americana, and soulful pop for their emotional depths. Whether bathing in the radiant sunset of Tennessee or digging into the rich loam of her midwest upbringing, Lou has an innate ability to bring an immediacy to both affairs of the heart and philosophical thought. On her new album Queen of Time (due September 29th from Kill Rock Stars), Lou captures a new arc of haloed beauty, becoming unattainable in her own way—a vibrant, powerful woman who can share herself with the world, and yet define a mystic sense of inner self as well.
About Patty Pershayla & The Mayhaps:
Patty PerShayla transitioned from small-town pageants to rock ‘n’ roll, leading the dynamic trio Patty PerShayla & The Mayhaps. With their blues-infused sound and energetic performances, they’ve gained a dedicated following, even winning Best Music Video at the Grand Rapids Film Festival.
About The Jordan Hamilton Trio:
Jordan Hamilton, cellist of Last Gasp Collective and the Southwest Michigan Symphony Orchestra, merges songwriting, loop pedals, sample machines, and vocals to create a sonic landscape of experimental hip-hop, folk, soul, and classical music. The Western Michigan University graduate aims to find new ways for the cello, a traditional instrument, to relate to a modern audience where it can be found playing the music of Bach, the Beatles, or Chance the Rapper. Filled with an eclectic range of songs, Jordan’s set is sure to capture the heart and mind while reflecting on new horizons.
