Kiln Fusing Glass Art Camp for Kids

In this one day (3-hour) class, campers will explore the techniques of kiln fusing with our experienced instructors. The camp will cover the basics of designing, cutting, assembling, and preparing glass for the fusing process. Additionally, students will be introduced to the scientific concepts that have shaped modern glass making and the history of glass art and craft in America. Each camper will create 2-3 pieces including sun catchers, necklace pendants, and slumped bowls.  If a camper takes more than one session, other projects can be substituted for the ones listed above.

Suitable for ages between 9-18. No previous experience necessary.
