Tom Kendall will speak about his work and career, including his piece on view in Out of the Fire: Masterworks of Ceramics. A nationally recognized artist with work in many distinguished museum and private collections, Tom is especially well-known in West Michigan where he was named Chair of the KIA’s Ceramics Department in 1973, before going on to direct the Art School until 1996. Today, Kendall operates Oak Leaf Pottery in Plainwell, MI.
