Juneteenth Community Day

Drop in to the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts on Saturday, June 17, for our Juneteenth Community Day! This free event includes something for everyone. Create a square for our community paper quilt, take a gallery tour focused on African American artists represented in the KIA's collection, enjoy a quilt show by local artists Bette Boulding and Paralee Harris, and watch a screening of Faith Ringgold's Tar Beach, read by the author!

The Community Box Office Hours:
