Join us for an amazing opportunity to catch Corey Pesaturo and Elden Kelly for a special duo performance at the Kalamazoo College, Connable Recital Hall. Pesaturo and Kelly met in 2004 when studying at New England Conservatory of Music in Boston. After a weekend of performances around the state of Michigan, they’ll they take a special night at K College to present the show “Jazz, World and Beyond” that explores the depth and breadth of musical styles around the globe and throughout history. In this interactive and educational concert, audiences experience classic and diverse accordion music and learn about what Pesaturo is doing to change the sound, audience and genres of the accordion in music today. Attendees will also learn more about the guitar styles of Elden Kelly, instructor of Jazz Guitar at K College, performer and composer, as he accompanies Cory in this splendid and engaging program.
