Introduction to Ukulele Class

This 6-week class for introduces beginning players ages 7-12 to the ukulele in a small group setting. Instruction includes proper playing position, the “basic” or “common” strumming stroke, reading ukulele music and tablature, and commonly played chords and rhythms. The class will focus on basic skills and techniques with an emphasis on having fun while learning. The session will end with a performance for family and friends. A limited number of ukuleles are available for students to use, or bring your own instrument.
