Friends of Poetry Presents: Alchemy

Alchemy: An Artists + Writers Initiative brought writers and visual artists together to explore the theme of alchemy in their own creative work, supported by discussions, workshops and other group activities. Friends of Poetry is the fiscal sponsor of the Alchemy Initiative, which is supported by grants from the Irving S. Gilmore Foundation, the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs, the Arts Fund of Kalamazoo County through the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo, and several nonprofit cultural and educational institutions, along with donations from community members and participating artists and writers.
