A man names Myenye attempts to marry one of his two daughters — the selfish and headstrong Mpunzikazi, and the kind and brave Mpunzanyana — to Makanda Mahlanu, a great chieftain. Little do the daughters know the Makanda Mahlanu is also a powerful sorcerer.
