Digital Concert Hall: A Little Night Music

Our March Final Friday Digital Concert Hall event explores the sounds of Berlin cabaret of the 1920s to jazz influences and finally one of the greatest classical works ever written, Mozart’s “Eine Kleine Nachtmusik.”

Kurt Weill’s score for a Threepenny Opera brings to life the sounds of Berlin cabaret of the 1920s, featuring the hit number “Mack the Knife,” for our third Final Friday Digital Concert Hall series performance.

Following the Threepenny Opera, the program continues with a concerto for cello, winds, and jazz combo by Austrian composer Friedrich Gulda, featuring KSO principal cellist Igor Cetkovic. The concerto blends Gulda’s deep love of jazz with the classical tradition. Gulda himself

ADMISSION INFO
