You either have too much stuff or not enough stuff, so attend Crawlspace Eviction’s June 16 & 17 shows, entitled “ECON.”
“We’re ending our 2016-17 season with our 2nd annual garage sale, and, yeah, we’re going to perform our traditional improv show too,” says Dann Sytsma, director of Crawlspace Eviction. “Anyone who purchases a ticket to a performance will be given a booth, where, an hour before the show and during intermission, they can sell things they would normally sell at a garage sale. As long as it’s not alive, doesn’t leak oil and won’t make you intoxicated, bring it to sell!”
Your providers of reasonably priced improv for the weekend will be Bannon “Bargain-basement” Backhus, Brian “Won’t Break the Bank” Duguay, John “Junk in His Trunk” Kasdorf, Dann “Dusty But Discounted” Sytsma and Tara “The Tire Kicker” Sytsma.
The performances and garage sales will take place in the Judy K. Jolliffe Theatre, in downtown Kalamazoo arts hub, the Epic Center, located at 359 S. Kalamazoo Mall, on June 16 & 17. The shows will start at 8 pm, with seating beginning at 7:30 pm; the garage sales will begin at 7 pm. Beer & wine will be available for purchase before the show and at intermission. Tickets are $13, $10 for students. For tickets and more information, visit www.crawlspacetheatre.com.
