Artist's Talk: Patrick Stannard

Join us in a conversation with animator and artist Patrick Stannard as he returns to his hometown for a series of programs co-organized by the KIA, Parchment Public Library, Kalamazoo Valley Community College, and Public Media Network. An animator with Powerhouse Animation Studios in Austin, Texas, Patrick is best known for his work on the Netflix Castlevania series and Stoic’s The Banner Saga. He will speak about contemporary trends in animation and his current and future projects.

During the March 21 evening talk, Patrick Stannard will discuss the art and craft of animation with clips from his award winning work and time for Q&A. Reception to follow.
