Art on the Mall

Art on the Mall, June 7-8, 2019, is part of the kickoff to the summer arts weekend in downtown Kalamazoo. For over 35 years this two-day show hosts local and regional artists who sell their original art in the vicinity of the downtown Kalamazoo mall. This outdoor, soft-juried show features everything from jewelry to pottery and sculptures to garden art as well as art demonstrations and live entertainment. Art on the Mall is located on the Kalamazoo Mall and South Street.

This official kickoff to summer in Kalamazoo also features the annual KIA Art Fair, acclaimed for hosting high-quality juried art works from over 150 artists; Art Hop, an evening of art exhibits and events held on the first Friday of every month; the Do-Dah Parade, a fun, innovative, parody-filled event that takes place in Downtown Kalamazoo; and Concerts in the Park, the first in a series of Sunday-afternoon concerts in Bronson Park.
