A vocal ensemble comprised of young women from the Mt. Vernon Senior High School Fine Arts Academy, performing sacred music from varied religious traditions and historical periods.
Comprised of seven young women from the Mt. Vernon Senior High School Fine Arts Academy (Mt. Vernon, Indiana), Angelus is dedicated to the performance of sacred music from varied religious traditions and historical periods.
Since 2009, Angelus has performed over ninety concerts in nineteen states. Their recordings have been featured on National Public Radio, Minnesota Public Radio and in Europe. In April 2016, they made their Lincoln Center debut in New York.
