Ben Folds is the leader of the platinum-selling, indie-rock band Ben Folds Five. Apart from the band, Folds has gone on to have a very successful solo career as a pianist, singer, and songwriter, especially known for his conversational lyrics, percussive piano, and audience-engaging live performances. A prolific songwriter for film and television, Folds recently completed his fourth season as a judge on the popular a cappella competition TV show, The Sing-Off.
