The Kalamazoo Civic Theatre is looking for experienced Sound Engineers for the 2021-2022 season. Under supervision of the Lighting & Sound Designer, our Sound Engineers are responsible for the success of the show by coaching volunteers and managing equipment issues during live performances. Sound Engineers will also be responsible for adjustments to equipment and sound as needed during live performances, as well as preparing microphones and running pre-show checks. Applicants should have a working knowledge of signal flow, wireless operation, live mixing, and sound reinforcement. Ability to work at heights and climb ladders is preferred.

 

Sound Engineers for each Musical Production will be contracted separately.
