Scott Redmond is a Michigan based fine artist who works primarily in the landscape and still life genres. Redmond holds an A.B. degree from University of Michigan and studied fine art at Kalamazoo Institute of Arts as well as Western Michigan University. Scott is currently completing an MFA at San Francisco’s prestigious Academy of Art. He has studied under Dean Larson, Jeannie Brunnick, Kristan Le and John Poon, and is greatly influenced and inspired by his mentor, John Asaro. Redmond is a member of Oil Painters of America, the California Art Club and The Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo. His work has been featured in American Art Collector magazine. Scott works exclusively in oil and he completes his pieces on museum quality linen and wood panels using only the finest grade materials. His studio is in the Kalamazoo area.
