Our Advent Concerts are approximately 50 minutes on Thursdays during Advent at noon in the Sanctuary. Freewill offering will help support the Music & The Arts Ministry of First United Methodist Church of Kalamazoo (212 S. Park Street, Kalamazoo, Michigan). Meet the artists and share in refreshments after the concert. 

The first performance of our Advent Season Concert Series will be members of the Michigan Opera Theatre Company from Detroit, Michigan. Artists from Michigan Opera Theatre will offer live performances of operatic hits, music from Broadway and the Silver Screen, and holiday favorites. Learn more about Michigan Opera Theatre’s 2017-18 season, including Puccini’s Tosca (one of the most popular operas of all time), and experience up close and personal the power of the operatic voice.
