Michael Elwell, the Director of the Richmond Product Design and Innovation Institute at Western Michigan University will be discussing this new interdisciplinary Institute and why design is so relevant in the world today. The Institute, which launched this fall, introduces students to design thinking, collaboration, visualization, engineering, and entrepreneurship through creative, industry-sponsored projects.
