Crawlspace Eviction is proud to announce the very first performance ever in Crawlspace Theatre Production’s new classroom and rehearsal space. It’s going to be a night to remember. While this will not be our regular performance venue (Crawlspace Eviction will still be doing regular performances at the Epic Theatre), we are presenting two nights of improv with Crawlspace Eviction in our intimate new rehearsal and training center. Light appetizers will be available as well as a cash bar, courtesy of The Black Arts and Cultural Center’s Face Off Theatre Group. The shows will be filled with improv and sketch performance, while also giving time for remembering how Crawlspace began, and sharing stories of what’s happened along the way.
We’re excited to usher in a new era in our very own space. Our training program is opening new doors to experiencing improv, and we want to celebrate our future in our beautiful new space. Let’s get tons of people in on the action we’ve got going on. A great way to do it is: watching great improv, having food and drinks, and celebrating improv in Kalamazoo.
The “very important” cast is: Bannon “Golden Boy” Backhus, Brian “Sterling Silver” Duguay, Brian “Prime Cut” Lam, Tara “High Standards” Sytsma, and Dann “Sweet Success” Sytsma.
The performances are April 29 & 30. Doors will open at 7:00pm for food and drinks, and the show starts at 8pm. Shows are at our new space, Park Trades Center, Suite 411B, 326 W Kalamazoo Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49007. Tickets are $20, and can be purchased at crawlspacetheatre.com. The venue only holds 50, so get your tickets fast.
