The Philadelphia Inquirer bestowed the title of “British Piano Goddess” on Imogen Cooperfollowing her moving performance with the Philadelphia Orchestra last season. Cooper’s 2016 Festival program focuses on works by Schumann, Wagner, and Liszt, and it concludes with Liszt’s arrangement of Wagner’s magisterial Liebestod from Tristan und Isolde.
